This is when a man cannot get or keep a hard errect penis suitable for sexual activity. Uprima is not approved for use in women. Uprima will not increase your sex drive. Uprima will only work if you are sexually excited. How to take it: The normal recommended dose for Uprima is one 3 mg tablet 20 minutes before engaging in sexual activity. Before you take Uprima, drink a full glass of water. This will help the tablet dissolve properly. After drinking the water, place the tablet under your tongue and let it dissolve slowly. It might take about 10 minutes for the tablet to dissolve. Sexual stimulation is required for the drug to take effect, and for an erection to be achieved. For most patients, Uprima should be taken once a day as required. Take one tablet in an eight-hour period. DO NOT exceed 3 mg within that time period. Serious complications can occur.
