Its active ingredient ketoconazole works best on the yeast that forms dandruff, and also is beneficial to those using hairloss products because the scalp is made clean and infection free and enables the hairloss product to work effectively. How to apply it: Shampoo twice weekly for 2-4 weeks then once every 1-2 weeks. Apply to wet hair and scalp and leave in contact 3-5 mins before rinsing thorougly. Side effects: Adverse events include allergic reaction, itchy, irritated or greasy skin and scalp, rash and erythema.
