Premia is not approved and should not be used to prevent coronary heart disease. Premia is available in both a cyclical and continuous form. Precautions when taking Premia: Premia should not be used under any of the following conditions or circumstances: known or suspected pregnancy (estrogen or progestin may cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman); undiagnosed unusual vaginal bleeding; known or suspected breast cancer; known or suspected estrogen-sensitive tumors; active venous or arterial thromboembolism (e.g. stroke, blood clots, or heart attack), or a history of these conditions; liver dysfunction or disease.
