It can also by used to treat tinea of the feet (athlete’s foot). Dosage Lamisil Gel is usually applied once or twice daily. Apply the gel to the affected skin and surrounding area in a thin layer and rub it in lightly. It is important to clean and thoroughly dry the affected areas before applying Lamisil Gel. Side effects You may experience redness, itching, burning, blistering, swelling, or oozing in the area being treated. If you notice any of these, or other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. Precautions If your symptoms do not improve within a few days or if they become worse, check with your doctor. Keep Lamisil Gel away from your eyes and the inside of your nose or mouth. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse eyes thoroughly with running water. It is not known if Lamisil is excreted in breast milk. Do not breast-feed while using Lamisil Gel.
