Use: Claratyne is the same as Claratin. Claratyne (Claratin) is an antihistamine that blocks the symptoms of allergies. Say goodbye to watering and itching eyes, runny noses, and sneezing with Claratyne. Its non-drowsy formula is the perfect way to combat your allergies and still be able to function properly throughout the day.
How to take it: Take one tablet daily for relief of allergy symptoms.
Side effects: Claratyne (Claratin)’s side effects include headaches, dry mouth, and dry nose. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. Contact your doctor immediately if you develop a rapid or pounding heartbeat, dizziness or unusual weakness while taking this medicine.
Precautions: Do not use Claratyne (Claratin) if you are allergic to it or any of the ingredients listed above, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not suitable for children less than 2 years old, or if you have liver disease or eye problems (such as high pressure in the eye or glaucoma), sugar diabetes, prostate enlargement, or problems with your liver, kidney or bladder. While you are using Claratyne (Claratin) you should inform all Doctors, Dentists or Pharmacists who are treating you, and inform them if you become pregnant whilst using Claratyne (Claratin). It is unlikely to make you drowsy, however you should not drive or use machinery the first time you use it. You should stop using it 48 hours before you have any skin tests.
