Details Carloc (Carvedilol) - 6.25mg (10 tablets) Uses Carloc (Carvedilol) is prescribed to treat hypertension and help lessen the risk of heart failure, also increasing survival for heart attack sufferers. This medication works by reducing strain on the heart, aiding recovery, it is a non-selective alpha and beta blocker. Carloc (Carvedilol) can be taken on its own or in combination with other types of anti-hypertensive medication. Dosage & Administration Take Carloc (Carvedilol) according to your doctors instructions, do not change your prescription unless your doctor has recommended you do so. Carloc (Carvedilol) is usually taken twice daily, at the same times, with meals. Side Effects Common side effects of Carloc (Carvedilol) can include fatigue, asthenia, diarrhea, hypoglycemia, hypotension, feeling mildly dizzy, weight gain and vision changes. The following listed side effects can all be serious and require medical attention immediately. Severe weakness/fainting/dizziness, heart beat changes, blue fingers/toes, tingly sensation, numbness, unusual thirst or hunger, easy bruising or bleeding, changes to mood and/or urination, pains in the chest, sweating more than normal and an allergic reaction (swollen limbs, face and throat, hives, rashes, inability to breath/swallow etc). Precautions During consultation always inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, as this medicine may harm your baby. Inform your doctor of any allergies you have and of any other health issues, such as asthma, tumors, kidney, circulation, thyroid, muscle, heart, or respiratory related conditions, as well as if you have psychological or mood disorders. This medication may hide the symptoms of hypoglycemia, so if you are diabetic you should always consult your doctor before taking Carloc (Carvedilol) to discuss ways to better monitor and control your blood sugar level. Until you know the severities of your side effects when taking Carloc (Carvedilol), driving or operating dangerous machinery is not advised. This medication may be affected by alcohol consumption. Talk to your doctor about these risks before you start taking it. Always inform your surgeon you are taking Carloc (Carvedilol) before undergoing any form of surgery, as it may interact negatively with drugs used during or after surgery.
