Details Carloc (Carvedilol) - 25mg (10 tablets) Uses Carloc (Carvedilol) controls high blood pressure, prevents heart failure, and lowers the risk of further attacks in heart attack patients. This medicine is a non-selective alpha and beta blocker which can be used either on its own or combination with other antihypertensive medicines. It reduces the hearts work load, decreasing strain and aiding a more effective recovery. Dosage & Administration Use Carloc (Carvedilol) only in accordance with your doctor’s instructions. Never alter your dose without unless you have been advised to by a healthcare professional. Normally this medication is taken two times daily with food. It is recommended you take your medicine at the same times each day. Side Effects Common side effects of Carloc (Carvedilol) are listed below. If any become persistent or bothersome, inform your doctor promptly. Fatigue, or extreme tiredness Asthenia Diarrhea, or an upset stomach Hypoglycemia Hypotension Feeling mildly dizzy Abnormal weight gain Abnormal vision Serious side effects that require medical attention immediately include: Seizures Weakness, fainting, or severe dizziness Heart beat changes, maybe slower than normal or irregular Blue toes or fingers Tingling, numb sensation, possible in the limbs Feeling thirsty or hungry (may be unexplainable) Bruising or bleeding easier than normal Changes in urination or mood Chest pain Sweatiness Symptoms of an allergic reaction, such as swelling of the limbs, face or throat, rashes, hives, difficulty swallowing or breathing etc Precautions If any of the following apply to you, always disclose them to your doctor before you start taking Carloc (Carvedilol). This is very important as the medication may negatively interfere with drugs used during or after your surgery.
